My name is Lorin, but my friends and family call me Lo for short! Encouragement and inspiration are the keys to every piece of work I create. I pray as your eyes read each post, or poem that it turns into a divine space for Jesus to encourage your soul!
Amazingly enough, I didn't go looking to write words. Jesus literally just dropped the idea in my head one day shortly after I was saved at 17. I picked up a journal from my mom's bedroom... (I kinda stole it, but she wasn't using it!) and began writing my prayers.
My written prayers then turned into daily ways I poured out my heart before the Lord. Tear stained pages, dating questions, and days documenting moments of gratitude and answered prayers filled countless journals. As I wrote Jesus taught. Scriptures that applied to my situations came to life and a desire to write and encourage others grew. In 2019 I posted my first official blog post called "No More Hiding" and the rest is history!
Perfect? No, I'm not even close to perfect. I have failed, I have sinned, I have written words that were easier to write then live out, but in the abyss of words and living for Jesus one day at a time I've learned and grown. I pray these words find you in the exact place you need them on the exact day you need them. I pray the Holy Spirit uses them to speak truth into your heart and breathes life over your soul. I pray together we will cry, laugh, grieve, and enjoy the life Jesus has given us. We're in this boat together!
