I was reminded of hope yesturday
I was reminded in the midst of my questions, my discouragement, and the world’s present darkness, hope would remain the victor.
I was reminded that just when I think the path gets too long and too hard, I have a reason to keep going.
I was reminded by merely working in the office of why this word makes my heart swell with utter joy.
I was reminded of how this word melts away every anxious thought and every daunting unknown.

Hope, although simple to spell, has a deep and rich meaning that goes far beyond simplicity.
The power is not in the word, but in the person who is, who defines and who exemplifies this word.
My hope is Jesus.
My hope is not in myself or my strength alone.
My hope is in the one who breaks up life’s monotony and reminds me what’s really important.
My hope chooses to show me an undeserving, heartfelt, deep love every day of my life.
Our hope, Jesus, can pull us up from despair, distraction, and destruction.
Our hope gives eternal life, forgiveness, abundance, and grace.
Our Hope, our Victory, our Savior, Jesus
Amen
Loving, Enduringly
Lo
